Google mistake? I think not..

Did Google make a mistake and forget how to spell their name on Valentine’s day?
Some people are claiming they did, including Seth Godin, but I’m taking a different stand. If you look at it, the missing letter ‘L’ is actually wrapped around the ‘g’ – as if a strawberry draped in chocolate, or and L in love with G.
Did Google go beyond what their audience can understand? Perhaps, but at least they were creative about it.
